Base URL and Authentication
Use https://api.uncensoredchatgot.com/v1 as your base URL for all requests. The API is fully OpenAI-compatible, meaning you can swap in your key and go.
Authentication relies on a single API key passed via the Authorization header. Create your key instantly via the dashboard using Google or email. No phone number required. Keep this key secure; it grants full access to your prepaid credit.
First Request
Send your first prompt using the standard chat completions endpoint. Replace YOUR_API_KEY with your actual key from the dashboard.
- Endpoint:
POST /v1/chat/completions - Model ID:
uncensored
The model responds with text, respecting your input without filtering lawful adult or controversial topics. Errors do not consume credit.
curl https://api.uncensoredchatgot.com/v1/chat/completions \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $API_KEY" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{
"model": "uncensored",
"messages": [{"role": "user", "content": "Summarize the plot of a romantic drama"}]
}'
Python SDK Integration
Leverage the official OpenAI Python library for seamless integration. Configure the client with your base URL and API key. The model parameter must be set to uncensored to access our tuned weights.
This approach works with any standard OpenAI-compatible client. You can adjust parameters like temperature or top_p directly in the call.
from openai import OpenAI
client = OpenAI(base_url="https://api.uncensoredchatgot.com/v1", api_key="YOUR_KEY")
resp = client.chat.completions.create(
model="uncensored",
messages=[{"role": "user", "content": "Summarise this thread without softening it."}],
)
print(resp.choices[0].message.content)
Node SDK Integration
Integrate quickly using the Node.js SDK. Point the client to our base URL and provide your key. The uncensored model ID ensures you get unrestricted text generation.
Handle responses asynchronously. This method is ideal for web servers or backend services requiring reliable text output. No special drivers needed.
import OpenAI from "openai";
const client = new OpenAI({ baseURL: "https://api.uncensoredchatgot.com/v1", apiKey: process.env.API_KEY });
const resp = await client.chat.completions.create({
model: "uncensored",
messages: [{ role: "user", content: "Draft a villain monologue for my game." }],
});
console.log(resp.choices[0].message.content);
Streaming Responses
Enable streaming by setting stream: true in your request. You will receive Server-Sent Events (SSE) for each token generated.
This is crucial for chat interfaces where users expect immediate feedback. The final chunk includes the full token usage statistics. Streaming reduces perceived latency significantly for long responses.
stream = client.chat.completions.create(
model="uncensored",
messages=[{"role": "user", "content": "Tell the story in second person."}],
stream=True,
)
for chunk in stream:
if chunk.choices and chunk.choices[0].delta.content:
print(chunk.choices[0].delta.content, end="", flush=True)
Rate Limits and Errors
Each API key supports 300 requests per minute and 8 concurrent requests. If you exceed this, you will receive a 429 status code. A 401 error indicates an invalid or missing key. A 402 error means your prepaid credit is exhausted.
Request bodies must stay under 8 MB. Errors and refusals are free, so retrying safely does not drain your balance. Credit never expires, so you can top up anytime.
